2009 PLACC Board of Management

The PLACC Board is made up of the 7 original family groups being the Bilney family, Burgoyne family, Davey family, Hirschausen family, Kelly family, Miller family and Richards family. The Board Members are:-

CHANGES TO PLACC OFFICES

Have you been into the PLACC Administration Office at 30 Ravendale Road lately? 

If so, you will have noticed the changes that have occurred. 

On one side of the building we have the offices for the Port Lincoln Aboriginal Family Violence and Prevention Legal Service.  This is staffed by Sharon Betts - Co-ordinator, Barbara Rowe - Principal Solicitor, Amanda Spalding - Solicitor, Kay Lawrence - Counsellor and Desarae Clements- Administration Officer.

On the other side we have the administration office of Mental Illness Fellowship of South Australia (MIFSA) and this is staffed by Peg, Shane and Sonja.

All visitors are very welcome.

SOCIAL PROGRAMS MANAGER

The social programs of PLACC e.g. Gidja Club/Vacation Care, Kuju Arts, APOSS, AVS, Youth Initiatives, NRM Projects, ACE Project are managed by Heather Cox.

Description
Kuranya Family Association is an incorporation setup to cater for the needs and aspirations of the direct descendants of Elizabeth and Fred Richards within the Eyre Peninsula region.
Activities

Working with a share farmer maintaining the property at Big Swamp via Port Lincoln. The associations main objective at present is to promote a harmonious environment for the family to come together.
