2011 PLACC Board of Management

The PLACC Board is made up of the 7 original family groups - Bilney, Burgoyne, Davey, Hirschausen, Kelly, Kent and Richards. The Board Members are:-

The Administration Team........

If you have ever been into the offices at 30 Ravendale Road, Port Lincoln you would know that it is quite a large building.  It comprises of one large Board Room, a large reception area, 14 offices, 2 kitchens and a training room.

Shantelle Pickett is the Administration Support Officer and Sue Brownrigg is our Finance Manager.

Besides accommodating the PLACC staff we also rent out office space to Port Lincoln Mental Illness Fellowship of South Australia (MIFSA) and Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement (ALRM).

On one side of the building we have the PLACC business and finance offices which houses The Business Managemant team and the Finance Officer.

On the other side we have the office of Mental Illness Fellowship of South Australia (MIFSA) and this is staffed by Peg, Shane and Sonja.  We also have a part time ALRM Field Officer -   David Dudley. 

All visitors are very welcome to the Administration Office.

Community Support Services Manager

Heather Cox is the Community Support Services Manager and she oversees the day to day administration of the social programs within PLACC.  These programs include Kuju Arts, Gidja Club Out of School Hours Care, Vacation Care, Youth Initiatives Program, Community Internet Access Program, Aboriginal Visitors Scheme, NAIDOC & Other Cultural Celebrations.  Heather is also a Justice of the Peace and this service can be accessed at the administration office.

Business Development Manager

Simone Punshon is the Business Development Manager and has been with PLACC for over two years now.  Simone's role is to manage PLACC's current enterprises and further develop business opportunities for the community. Some of the programs that Simone currently is working on are Labour Hire Contractors, Wanilla Forest Firewood Project, Munda Wonder Landscaping, Kuju Aboriginal Arts and Commercial & Residential Rental Program.
