The Port Lincoln Aboriginal Community Council established the Resource Agency Service to provide financial and management services for all programs and other organisations. With this service in place the PLACC is now the Auspicing Agency for State, Commonwealth and other agencies to direct funds through as the governing body. |

As Field Officer his role is to:
Maintain strong links with Aboriginal Communities.
Assist Aboriginal people to become aware of their legal rights and responsibilities. Promote A.L.R.M. - be a guest speaker within the Aboriginal Community. |

| Activities: |
Provide support for Aboriginal clients (18 years and over) taken into Police custody and support Police with their duty of care responsibilities inclusive of the facilitation of communication between the Police and the client. Promote positive relations between the South Australian Police and the local Aboriginal community.
Provide care, comfort and companionship to clients.
This service is an out of hours service and operates between 5.00pm - 8.30am Monday to Friday and 24 hours a day Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.
